So let's put it in practical terms. I've been doing the Purium 10-Day Transformation Cleanse. Today is Day 8 and it's not EASY! But what I'm gaining from doing this is life changing. Around Day 3 I realized that I really wasn't hungry, but I missed eating/chewing/tasting food. I have studied extensively about our psychological dependance on food, and I thought I had really applied it to my life, and while I have had a change in my thinking and acting towards food, this Cleanse has been an eye opening experience on where things still need to change...where I need to be MINDFUL concerning my food. So many of us eat without thinking about what we are actually eating. We eat in front of the tv, or standing at the counter, or talking on the phone... I have sometimes wondered where all the chips in the bag went, as I'm sitting there surrounded by a ring of crumbs!!! :)
