"My husband had blood work done and found out that his triglycerides were over 800. I want to share and celebrate some good news - and a great reason to be doing F.E.D. up and keeping it up! I started on FED up because I'd gained weight again...but I also had concerning blood work numbers, I was borderline diabetic, had higher cholesterol than I'd ever had, and some indications for possible heart disease as well. That was in February.
Last Friday I had my 6 month review of in-depth blood work with the Dr. and he wanted to know what I was doing, because it is really working and he said he was really impressed with the changes. While not perfect, everything was so much better. Since February, I've lost 25 pounds, I'm no longer even near borderline diabetic, my cholesterol is well below 200 and the remaining heart markers will improve with walking 30 minutes every day. Needless to say, I've been walking daily since then!
I'm just really happy to not be worrying about what I'm doing to my health for the future. I'm enjoying eating this way, learning to keep it interesting, and, I learned in writing about this program to a friend, I'm really happy to not have cravings! So, just wanted to share about this,crow a little and be happy for improved health!! Thanks to Sally for keeping the group going! and to Michelle for much good info!
